Important results from the project
The aims and goals for the project were to determine and identify the customers (caregivers) demands for server security, login protocol, verify the need for customer specific content and graphics as well as identify different business models and how to establish a collaboration with a play therapist. The project has been invaluable and new knowledge has come to light creating a path for future development and collaboration. The conclusion is that the project has fulfilled the aims and goals that were set out. A final fulfilled task was to identify a first reference customer.
Expected long term effects
The results have led to a deeper understanding to how the software should be installed and how login procedures should be handled. In addition there is an understanding for what content should be developed to better support the end user. A key result is to develop an AI avatar for communication and support. During the project several new contacts have been established (caregiver, play therapist, parents). The results have laid the foundation to move the project one step further to sign up with a reference customer.
Approach and implementation
Data collection was made through qualitative interviews, online data search and design work. Preferably more product development and design work could have been done but the time and fund were limited within the project. However, the knowledge achieved during the project has been able to take the project to the next level and has laid a very good foundation for a future version and collaboration.
