Purpose and goal
The youth have participated from the start in the development of an innovation and gained knowledge in product development and entrepreneurship. The main objective was to engage young people to develop an innovative concept with the help of the entrepreneurs. During the project, the youth worked with identifying problems and needs, development of functions, business development, market analysis, design and app development. The youth have contributed with creativity and inspiration with the experience of the entrepreneurs in order to create a service with high customer value.
Results and expected effects
Objectives of the project in May, 2013: * A demo app that the audience uses as a microphone or type in a query. DONE * A web-based interface for the event holder that can manage the event´s interaction with the audience. DONE * Test Pilot in a school to demonstrate the service´s customer value and functionality. DONE * There are talks with event organizers who want to take part of the Inter-Agera service. ONGOING * Developing of a service that the youth themselves have helped to create and to prove that cooperation between youth and entrepreneurs favor the creation of innovative services.
Approach and implementation
The work with the youth has been a workshop-based. These meetings between entrepreneurs and the youth has included work on the design, development of functions, project management, surveys, business plan, marketing, financing, business model and company formation. These topics have been addressed in order to create the basis for a commercial service. In parallel with the meetings, the technical development of the demo app has been performed by subcontractors. We have also organized meetings with experts and advisors in innovation, sound engineering and app development.
