Purpose and goal

During the Vinnova project period, the Opusplace project has developed a learning platform for teachers in primary and secondary school based on collegial support through digital professional development for teacher developed by experienced educators who share proven methodology for like-minded teachers around the country.

Expected results and effects

During the project period, Opusplace managed to reach 8% of Sweden´s teachers through digital professional development courses based on proven methodology that have led to extraordinary student engagement and strong learning outcomes. Nearly 50% of participating teachers have chosen to apply the methodology presented in Opusplace courses and we have succeeded in creating a natural interest in new methods of working with students that have proven to create extraordinary results.

Planned approach and implementation

The goal is and has always been to engage, inspire and support teachers so that teachers can more easily engage, inspire and support their students - in order to develop and maintain both the teachers and students´ interest and joy in learning. The projects desired outcomes have been manifested through developing a scalable distribution platform in combination high quality content that allows participants easy practical application of presented methodologies.
