Important results from the project
The objectives of instasen were: - Organize a workshop on innovation competitions and for Openlab to formulate a plan for innovation contest to find external solutions to eldercare related problems. - Develop a concrete plan for an innovation competition and a complete application to the autumn call. Both goals have been met and the platform has now been further implementation to the second step.
Expected long term effects
The outcome of the workshop is an innovation plan competitions that are now well established among the participating actors. This has facilitated the next step, then this is now being taken forward in a concrete activity in fall 2013.
Approach and implementation
The workshop took place over half a day in the Open Labs premises. It was prepared and led by OpenLab and Student Competitions AB. Attendance was good and there was a fruitful dialogue. After the workshop, SC compiled the material and ideas to a concrete plan, which later was submitted for phase II of the call for innovation contests.
