Noise sensitivity reduction in adaptive control

Reference number
Coordinator SAAB Aktiebolag - SAAB AB
Funding from Vinnova SEK 1 000 000
Project duration July 2013 - May 2016
Status Completed

Purpose and goal

The goal of this Project was to test the type of adaptive controller that was found to be noise-sensitive in a noisy and vibrating platform. The Project was able to initiate activites that would enable test of such adaptive Control laws but time ran out before the work was finalised.

Expected results and effects

Some live test of algorithms in noisy and vibrating platforms has been performed. No significant obtacles was found. The type of L1-adaptive controller that was chosen for the task gave an expected performande increase.

Planned approach and implementation

The Project was carried out using lower intensity than planned by initiating and supporting Master-thesis and trainee-work.

The project description has been provided by the project members themselves and the text has not been looked at by our editors.
