Purpose and goal
Project goals have been fulfilled. - Development of a detailed project plan in dialogue with partners within ´Travel and transport of the next generation´ -A Workshop have been done. -A study visit regarding Big Data and new data collection methods to the Netherlands have been done. - Review of national and international experiences have been done. -Planning of pilot-studies to be conducted in the autumn of 2017 have been conducted.
Expected results and effects
A detailed project plan in dialogue with partners within ´Travel and transport of the next generation´ is developed. 3 workshops have been done. A stakeholder analysis have been done. An investigation of new technological solutions for data collection, both national and international, has done. A pilot project concerning comparability and representativeness of online surveys and travel survey smartphone applications has been started. Work is also under way to investigate the possibility of a pilot involving mobile phone network data.
Planned approach and implementation
A consultant was tasked with developing a detail project plan. Three workshops were done to facilitate the planning of pilots studies.
