National open data

Purpose and goal

-Develop common principles for Stockholm and Gothenburg´s open data work. -Identify and prioritize a relevant data category and define a data set within this. -Identify relevant actors. Gothenburg and Stockholm have agreed to collaborate on three data categories, and a selected dataset from resp. category. Relevant actors and forms of cooperation as well as activities to proceed with implementation are identified

Expected results and effects

Since this has only been a preliminary study, no effects are expected during this phase. On the other hand, good cooperation has been initiated between the two municipalities as a good basis for future effects of joint publication of open data.

Planned approach and implementation

The preliminary study was conducted with representatives from relevant administrations in Gothenburg and Stockholm. Two joint workshops were conducted. Meetings with the Government Open Data Group were conducted on two occasions. The cooperation within both the Government Group and the project team worked very well. Involved resources commitment provided good and concrete results
