Important results from the project

An increasing number of intracytoplasmic sperm injections (ICSI) are performed every year at the rapidly growing in-vitro fertilization market. By automating the delicate parts of the process according to best practice, higher success rates will be achieved and the cost of the process will decrease. Precibeo’s nano precision robots offers the precision, force and size needed for successful automation of the ICSI process. The goal of this project was to develop and validate the nano precision robots for cell manipulation and to find a commercialization partner.

Expected long term effects

In this project we have developed ICSI adapted robots, validated the the offering with the market and initialized partnering discussions for commercialization.

Approach and implementation

The project implementation was to develop ICSI-adapted robots, validate the offering in discussions with IVF clinics and system suppliers at the IVF market as well as initiate partnering discussions with the same.
