Purpose and goal

The preliminary study confirms that young people have higher requirements on participation and a greater need to express their voice than what current systems can capture and enable. Policymakers see the same need to find new ways to supplement the current system. There is thus a systemgap and a market need for a digital tool. We have confirmed the value of continued development and a well-informed framework for concept. Many players have expressed interest in being involved in future work. We have confirmed that the school is a natural place to introduce the tool.

Results and expected effects

Our analysis shows a clear need for a digital democracy tools. The tool will enhance and highlight youth as a resource. Even the young people that are passive less verbal can find a platform. We thus enable the growth of a larger base of young active spokespersons on various issues. Schools are a natural place to introduce the tool, a modern teaching tool that also helps to raise the issue of democracy in school.

Approach and implementation

The Youth policy objectives are not reflected in reality. Modern technique offers a systematic way to create awareness. Allowing young people to go from passive to active, from participation to empowerment. Initiatives today are often ad hoc based and provide no holistic approach. Focus is on monologue, we see a need for more dialogue and common development. We see that people expect to participate in a democratic process, even on digital arenas. Young people want faster roads, better knowledge of their rights and a chance to engage in dialogue with other young people.
