Micro wave drying of finger jointed wood components for furniture and moldings

Important results from the project

The final goal for the project is to rice the product value when finger jointing technology is used to produce raw material for different wood products. By using micro wave technology to dry the finger joints immediately after press it is possible to process the material to a final product in the production line. With the micro wave technology it is also possible to dry the finger joints without heating up all the material and this way reduce the energy consumption.
