Important results from the project
The objectives of MANUFUTURE-SE are: - To highlight Swedish areas of interest within production in the European Technology Platform Manufuture - To highlight European production research for Swedish industry, academy and institutes - To influence future European calls ensuring that important Swedish research and development areas in production are included - To drastically increase the Swedish participation in European research projects MANUFUTURE-SE works long-term to meet the objectives. During 2013 increased quality of applications for EU-proposals has been a focus area.
Expected long term effects
The project have fulfilled the objectives by working in two dimensions: 1) Ensuring that important Swedish areas within production is included in Roadmaps at EU level 2) Encreasing the number of Swedish actors in EU projects making opportunities obvious for potential Swedish partners and parallel work for better quality of applications.
Approach and implementation
The project has four main activities: 1. Project management and information. 2. Increase the number of Swedish companies in EU programs 3. Improved application quality 4. International efforts to influence future calls on EU level facing Horizon 2020
