Important results from the project
During this project, Chalmers Robotics arranged a number of lectures and workshops with the purpose of spreading knowledge regarding different aspects of making. The events where open to the publiv and where held at Chalmers campus, with the workshops located in Chalmers Robotics makerspace.
Expected long term effects
There was in general a large interest in these events, and specifically the fact that these activities where provided at no charge was a point that was commended. We saw that several of the participants used their new knowledge in maker projects.
Approach and implementation
In total, twelve events where held, with a wide range of themes; 5 workshops and 7 lectures. The lectures focused on more theoretical parts of making, and the workshops provided a more "hands-on" experience. Both the lectures and the workshops received a lot of positive feedback from participants.
