Important results from the project

The project has had five sub-goals to test / establish a scalable solution including system development and logistics for home. The Concept Verified Unbroken Cold Chain has been tested in 2 stores in smaller towns and is launched in a large COOP store in Mariestad. The delivery concept is a cost-effective solution with function and food safety adapted even for ordinary cars such as taxi vehicles with an app for automated payment flow from the customer order incl delivery. There is a national potential via Svea Taxiallians which includes 100 taxi companies and covers 1200 pnr / locations.

Expected long term effects

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The effects are expected to be extensive as the need for a robust, cost-effective and energy-efficient infrastructure for food delivery is crucial both during the pandemic and under normal circumstances. The needs are found in both urban and rural areas. The result is a demonstration of the solution with a VERIFIED Unbroken Cold Chain Logistics based on a cellulose-based (wood foam) insulating cardboard solution, IT platform with processes for the food trade and data from temperature sensors - all developed during the project.
