Important results from the project

Labtrino AB had the aim and goal to continue the development of its non-invasive measurement technology by broadening its functionality and also sold impact. This would be done by developing compatibility with several types of pipes, with a focus on copper pipes. This was carried out during the course of the project as a result of Vinnova´s funding and is currently used in the design of the next generation of intelligent water meters. The development of software adapted for increased simplification of water metering was also an aim and objective that was implemented.

Expected long term effects

As described above, the results have been successful based on Labtrino´s success in developing the functionality we sought. However, this is only the beginning and we can only speculate in the possible effects that in the future can benefit both the company but also society in general. The direct effects are that in the future it will be possible to enable a commercial and sustainable way to measure water and energy consumption in including apartment buildings. This will contribute to a more sustainable lifestyle, reduced water leakage and limited overconsumption.

Approach and implementation

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** Based on the experience gained by the company in the work with Innovative startups step I, the systematic work with planning and implementation has been much easier than with previous grants. The company has followed the initial schedule with the development relatively well, but has above all been aware of the occasions when it deviated from the plan. This has made it possible for an increased focus to be directed towards these specific areas in order to optimize the final result. We are very proud of this.
