Purpose and goal

Gather experience from the efforts KTH done to develop the knowledge base for ´Impact and Engagement´ and for KTH model for collaboration in recent years. Give them an overall structure to create synergies between them. The project has been based on the quality of the KTH research. The project will give KTH basis for further research quality in terms of sectoral and societal benefits.

Results and expected effects

Developed criteria for impact including application of the knowledge triangle. Basis for the overall strategy of the KTH instrument for cooperation with a comprehensive and quality assured KTH policy. Increased knowledge of and respect for the outside world´s perception of the KTH impact and how it can further developed. Strong collaboration skills at KTH future professors / senior faculty.

Approach and implementation

In-depth study in connection with RAE2012 concerning integrated initiative to develop a strategy for impact and engagement in the knowledge triangle spirit. The work has been carried out in dense dialogue with KTH management and faculty where construction of interaction skills has had a particular focus. The sub-projects are developed in close dialogue with the KTH School, where the structure of build collaboration skills has been in focus. International expertise has been used to support the development.
