Important results from the project
The aim of this project is to look for the opportunities to collaborate with Korean partners in the framework of the EUREKA program. Through this program Obducat also expects to find any new needs for its technology within Korean market.
Expected long term effects
The participation in Korea EUREKA day provides Obducat with several opportunities to initiate new join development projects with Korean partners in some interesting application areas. Two organizations (Wizchem, NNFC) have material technology which can be used in Obducat´s nanoimprint lithography. These materials will be evaluated at Obducat, and further collaborative R&D projects will be pursued depending on the result. KIMM has an interest to build a combined nanopatterning and graphene transfer system, of which potential will be analyzed further.
Approach and implementation
As a whole the meeting was well organized, but it is advised for the improvement to focus more on match making efforts. The time given for one meeting was 30 min, which was rather short. It would be also more helpful to arrange a meeting with European participants not only with Korean participants.
