Purpose and goal
The Swedish project with a cooperation in different activities at the WorldCongress on ITS in Vienna 2012 has been very successful. To work together wit all different partners in the business chain of different ITS services and show on the strong cooperation and commitment in Sweden was highly appreciated by the international community and will give us a stronger position for participating in future international activities.
Results and expected effects
We believe that we have achieved full compliance with the anticipated effects of the activity. There where more than 270 people attending the VIP gathering which was opened by the Swedish Minister for Infrastructure. There where many meetings established between different sectors and countries. We achieved in showing that the parties in Sweden work together in implementation of ITS solutions on the transport network.
Approach and implementation
The arrangement with the joint booth where all sectors / stakeholders in the ITS sector worked together yielded positive synergies, both in the planning of activities and the execution! The partners found new working partners and externally did we show that Sweden have strong holistic approach that can deliver a total concept.
