Purpose and goal
In this project we aim at creating a competitive H2020 proposal with focus on developing our thinking and research within the area, and contribute with innovative and integrated methods, services, and products that exploration and ore geology studies will benefit from. The aim is to create partnership and enable a proposal adressing the H2020 call on developing and applying new Technologies and innovation within exploration.
Expected results and effects
A solid application with a budget of 12 M€ and with 23 partners from 8 European countries, was handed in 4th of September 2019. The wide consortium expects a positive outcome and a start-up of the UNITED project early 2020.
Planned approach and implementation
To enable a proposal of this kind, a wide, multi-disciplinary consortium that spans several research subjects and companies, is necessary. In the project, a core group has worked with the preparation of the document, and with other things demanded in order to deliver at time to the Commission. Physical meetings (workshops, meetings) for thorough discussions on research questions and challenges, many telephone meetings, and numerous emails, have been conduced in addition to the writing of the proposal.
