Important results from the project
The project will test the hypothesis that the step effect evaluation model - SEMM is valid for estimating (ex ante), and evaluating/reporting (ex post), the effects of modularization. The model is radically new because it directly connects effects of modularization to the different steps in a corporations supply chain, over the whole product lifecycle. The model aim to facilitate change by creating a clear vision of where in the companys supply chain desired effects can be gained.
