Purpose and goal
The project aimed at developing models of programme evaluation through collaboration between research and activities of the Swedish Schools Inspectorate. The project has examined a new approach to program evaluation in schools, it resulted in initiated collaboration between organizations, and it has had positive impact on personal competencies and networks for future projects and career opportunities.
Expected results and effects
The project was designed as a preliminary study with the intention of examining a new approach to program evaluation. It is currently uncertain whether the agency intends to further develop the project.
Planned approach and implementation
The project began with a survey and analysis of the present theories and metods of program evaluation in education. Then, the preliminary study was planned, realized and reported.
