Important results from the project
Crowding set a clear goal for the project, to define Husqvarna´s innovation demand and also to refining the challenge concept. These goals are met through an intensive dialogue and meetings with Husqvarna and their managers. The purpose of of stage 1 of the call, to inspire other external actors to an increased use of innovation contests is achieved. We have also signed agreements with two additional companies and promised to process the innovation competitions through their innovation challenges as well.
Expected long term effects
The results of the project covered by the call innovationstävlingar, step 1 can be described as satisfactory. Crowding and Husqvarna has managed to formulate, define and test the innovation challenge. Expected impact of the project, even for what is covered in Step 2 of the call is to use the innovation competition format and the use of external resources so it contribute to the utilization of new innovations in Husqvarnas product portfolio.
Approach and implementation
The concept with meticulous preparation before the dialogue with Husqvarna was to benefit from an efficiency standpoint. And also that we oriented ourselves regarding alternative twists of Husqvarnas innovation challenge, has contributed positively to the project.
