Incubation Support - Excellence - Inkubera i Örebro AB

Purpose and goal

Inkubera has through the Excellence program had the ambition to take a next step in the development of a customized and powerful program for knowledge based companies with high growth potential on an international market. Through the project, we have further developed our incubation process in order to more securely identify, select and develop companies that live up to the Excellence definition. We have selected and developed more than 14 excellence companies that reach the criterias within this field. 14 excellence companies has been our goal for the project period.

Expected results and effects

Inkubera has developed a clear structure and processes for identification, selection and development of excellence companies. Through cooperation with other incubators the companies have got even better opportunities to grow and reach an international market. A close and good relationschip with Örebro university has been achived and we have started the development of two specialization areas matching the regional innovation strategies within the technical and foodbased field. This is expected to have great impact on our inflow of qualified business cases in the near future.

Planned approach and implementation

Processes and methods have been developed through running business and learning process, inclusive exchange of experiences with other incubators. Through cooperation with other incubators we have also created a regional plattform (Växtzon) and a large network of competence and contacts that actively develop the companies both nationally and internationally. In the end of the project we have worked nationally for a closer cooperation with other actors within the foodrelated innovation area. This gives new and better opportunities för the companies within this field.
