Purpose and goal
The project aims at the investigation of a proposed method to improve the precision in printed passive components. The goal is to verify the hypothesis so that we after this project can initiate projects in which we develop specific applications collaboration with product owners.
Expected results and effects
The improved component precision will enable new sustainable products in the field of hybrid electronics and sensor systems, both with applications in IoT and digitalization. The proposed process is disruptive and will if possible be patented.
Planned approach and implementation
RISE will contribute with design and materials expertise. Manufacturing including the high precision process for passives is carried out at both Acreo and Consensum. Consensum is responsible for electrical testing in-line, a necessary step to enable continuous high-precision manufacturing.
