Important results from the project
The purpose with the Hugin-project is to develop a new camera platform to be used within Qualisys core segment biomechanical analysis of humans. Result: Done. The goal with the Hugin-project is to develop and produce camera prototypes that can be used in the various system solutions that Qualisys offers. Result: Done
Expected long term effects
An expected outcome of this project is that Qualisys enhances and strengthens its position as a leading provider of motion-capture solutions within the market segments Qualisys operates in today. Result: Done. An expected result is the production of 10 prototypes during the project with preparation for series production. Result: Done.
Approach and implementation
The project plan consists of completion of a pre-study, generation of requirement specifications, developing of mechanics, electronics and software, manufacturing of prototypes and performing functional testing. Essentially, the project went according to plan although some parts took longer than expected, especially the manufacturing of some of the PCBs.
