Important results from the project
Within the project included an innovation program with a hackathon and workshops. The aim was to catalyze the generation of ideas and the development of new products/services in IoT for health. The goal was that the project would result in a number of tools based on real needs. Of a total of 13 teams participating in the hackathon, five were selected by an expert jury to join two workshops and learn more about prototyping, communication, marketing and PR. These teams presented their solutions at the conference Digital Health Days. Three of the teams also got continued business support.
Expected long term effects
The project created an arena where real needs, described by healthcare providers and the companies were solved by teams consisting of individuals with different competences. The expected long terms effects and result were that a number of products and services should reach the market and generate benefits for healthcare and individuals. The five teams, which were selected to undergo the full program, all have continued to work on their products and services with the ambition to develop a working product/service.
