Important results from the project

The purpose with the project was to get a better understanding on how groups passing by Digital Signage could be described with parameters and to get a better understanding how these groups consumes the content shown. The goal was to develop an experimental platform, where sensors can measure how the content is consumed. The experimental platform has been developed and the goal is thereby reached.

Expected long term effects

The project has developed an experimental platform to in a controlled way present dynamic content on Digital Signage and to measure how the dynamic content is consumed. The expected outcome is to get a better understanding of the importance of information presentation for the information to reach its recipient.

Approach and implementation

The project was executed as a traditional project. On a higher level, the project was divided into sub areas and each sub area was divided into smaller parts which more or less where connected to another part. The project members were not allocated to the project to 100%, but an agile approach was adapted where the project members had to adapt their time in the project depending on the situation in the regular business. However, as the project members has a genuine interest in innovations, they really wanted to spend time in the project and its tasks.
