Important results from the project
The purpose was to increase Amferia´s visibility in France and to explore partnerships in med-tech in connection with production and business collaboration. We pitched to French and Swedish ecosystems, especially companies in wound care and investors. Amferia had positive discussions about potential partnerships with wound care companies and potential manufacturing partners where synergies may exist. Third, Amferia spoke to French investors who are active in the life sciences that will help us expand across Europe in the future.
Expected long term effects
The expected results are that Amferia builds potential business partnerships in line with a future EU project and also establishes production capacity in Europe for its wound care portfolio. In addition, exposure to the French market opens up new markets with consumer and clinical space.
Approach and implementation
Events provided the opportunity to leave Amferia to several potential stakeholders and enable one-on-one meetings with investors, potential business partners in pharmaceutical and medical technology companies and contract manufacturing companies. The event was organized for two days with separate sessions for 1-1 meetings and pitching. Well organized event and Amferia received positive feedback. In addition, Amferia got a clear idea of how the EU funding system works and who could be potential partners for a future project.
