Purpose and goal

The aim has been to contribute to improved conditions to ensure semantic and technical interoperability. The goal has been to describe a number of use cases for the purpose of verifying a range of standards for interoperability. With this background, the project has created a structure that connects the Healthcare information needs of a clinical process, with the results of previous projects Standin and 3H3R. Through a number of use cases described how this can be realized with various combinations of standards.

Expected results and effects

The project has created a structure that connects healthcare information needs of a selected clinical process with the results of previous projects Standin and 3H3R. The clinical processes have been identified and described by a number of use cases and related information needs. For a variety of use cases described how this can be realized with various combinations of standards. Based on this, the project has since developed job descriptions with detailed work steps for the realization of both informatics and techniques.

Planned approach and implementation

The project has been implemented with representation from healthcare, industry and government. The project team has worked agile and with broad competence profile in project management, standardization, informatics and engineering. For the project has been a steering committee consisting of representatives from SALAR (SKL), Inera AB Ehälsomyndigheten, Swedish Medtech, the National Board of Health and Welfare and the IT- and Telecom companies.
