Purpose and goal
KATAM develops a new disrupting method for measurment of standing forest. The method suits very w ell for measurment of fast grow ing forest, like in South America. In order to finalize an application to "EUREKA nätverksprojekt", KATAM w ill meet the local partner TSST Energy and the two chilean forest companies CMPC and Arauco.
Expected results and effects
All objectives with the journey were fullfilled and the effect is that we hopefully will get the applicaton approved.
Planned approach and implementation
The travel grant made it possible for Katam to in an efficient way coordinate and complete the Eureka application. We also got a valuable understanding of the Chilean forestery requirements, especially when it comes to measurement of Chilean plantation forest.
