Important results from the project
The aim of the prodject has been to help new companies within the creative industries create new contacts and in a relatively risk free manner give them the exhibition experience needed to develop their businesses. 8 Swedish startups joined the fair. The exhibiters gained many valuable contacts and valuable exhibition experience. Sales coach Vanessa Leoparti Wahlund gave them a valuable lesson in sales and sale strategy and The Fashion Incubator gave the all an individulle coach meeting. The companies also had the opportunity to network and develop new business contacts at the fair.
Expected long term effects
This project has opened up a closer cooperation between the different organizations and more common projects have been initiated. During 2016 Nordic Buzz will visit the Swedish interior fair Formex in Stockholm. In addition to this the partners will also run an Intereg project together. The companies that participated in the prodject gained valuable Contacts, coaching and exhibition experience wich hopefully will help them in their future business development.
Approach and implementation
Since we were several projects partners there was a lead time to star.t The marketing material came out a little late. However, when the project was up and running it was easy to gain momentum. We marketed the project and received over fifty applications. Unfortunately many of the companies we had chosen changed their mind at the last minute. Probably this happened because we didn´t require any counter performance or funding from them. This is an experience we will take forward into the next project. Modeink arranged a coaching and matchmaking event prior to the fair which was appreciated.
