Purpose and goal

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The project´s aim has been to create solutions for digitizing the information flow for different phases and "tools" used in the development of production systems. The aim has been to move from the predominantly paper-based working method for requirements specifications, etc. to link this to the various objects and relationships used to build the system. The goal has also been to develop technology to keep geometry and functional models updated during different phases of the life cycle, but aimed at methods for a digital twin.

Expected results and effects

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The project has developed a number of different methods and tools to partly realize the digitization of functional and non-functional requirements specifications and create functional component definitions (FMU / FMI) to more easily create advanced models. The work is based on the standard for neutral information formats (AutomationML). The result is promising on a conceptual level and has been evaluated and demonstrated in industrial case studies, but requires continued work to gain complete functionality and be scalable for industrial use.

Planned approach and implementation

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The project has followed a traditional project model and timing for research projects within EU cooperation. The project has had two national consortia, but the collaboration between the parties has largely been cross-border. The work in the respective work packages and industrial demonstrators has been planned and guided through regular work meetings, with a somewhat "agile" touch to adapt to the technical solutions that have been possible to achieve.
