Purpose and goal
The project goal in the planning phase of the testbed ”Energy efficient, gentle drying” are fullfilled according to the project plan, which means the following goals are met: -performed needs analysis -established constellation of actors -performed state of the art analysis with respect to surrounding factors -performed initial market analysis -quantified, documented environmental benefit -quantified estimation of growth potential for the technical area -initial testbed specification in terms of hardware and software -activity plan for coming phases
Expected results and effects
Establishment of the testbed is based on the following activities: performed analysis of needs established constallation of actors performed initial state of the art analysis & environmental analysis for the testbed offer and long-term development quantified environmental needs, with regard to the long-term and short-term effect goals of the testbed initial market analysis, with quantified estimation of the global market of the testbed and planned widening to more segments initial business & financing plan, to ensure long-term financing initial testbed specification
Planned approach and implementation
Completed activities: Needs analysis => test needs and initial test bed specification Constellation of actors: need-owners (users & suppliers of techno-environmental solutions for energy efficient drying), experts, branch organizations & agrifood companies Initial environmental & state of the art analysis vs growth potential & assessed environmental benefits coupled to short & long-term effect goals Assessment: environmental benefit vs impact targets Initial business & financing plan, including global market estimation and widening initial testbed specification
