Purpose and goal

The project aims at demonstrating RehAtt´s technical, economic and practical feasibility. During this project, the company analyzed RehAtt’s from a technical perspective and saw opportunities for improvement, which led to the next stage of development. The company has also shown that there is a demand for RehAtt. Price- and business models have been verified with potential customers. In addition, the go-to market strategy has been finalized. At the same time, the company has taken a big step towards verifying RehAtts economical effects and the effects on the patient’s health.

Expected results and effects

The technical analysis resulted in new opportunities for RehAtt and the development of a new and improved RehAtt has begun in order to provide even better and more effective care. The first step towards a health-economic study has been taken and the company hopes that the results of the study show significant savings for healthcare and at the same time increased health impact. In addition, Brain Stimulation is convinced that all collaborations that has been formed during the course of the project, together with the careful market analysis, will lead to a successful market launch.

Planned approach and implementation

During the project, Brain Stimulation has visited a number of hospitals to establish cooperation with several leading key-opinion leaders in stroke rehabilitation. These collaborations have provided the basis for several of the interviews that have been carried out as well as to lay the foundation for the health-economic study. In addition, Brain Stimulation has consulted several experts in areas such as market analysis, IPR issues and brand analysis to, together with the company´s own efforts, strengthen these areas and create a strategy for the future.
