Important results from the project
Testing with Swedish Edtest has shown an increase in teachers´ digital skills and their ability to evaluate and drive quality in digital learning resources. Companies that test with Swedish Edtest gain knowledge about the teaching needs that can be used in product development. Swedish Edtest has developed a scientifically based methodological support that creates a direction during a test and is an important part of getting teachers and companies to meet in a joint development. The tests are a way of tackling the complex challenge of evaluating quality in digital learning resources.
Expected long term effects
** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** Swedish Edtest´s most important results are that the business is further developed with a new ownership at the research institute Ifous and Swedish Edtech Industry. This means that Swedish Edtest´s methodological support can be developed to include all lifelong learning, that the equivalence of digital development can be strengthened by more teachers being able to participate and that the digital testing arena developed by the project can be further developed into a community of principals, teachers, educators, companies and researchers to meet.
Approach and implementation
** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** It has been a success factor that the principals themselves initiated and operated Swedish Edtest in collaboration with Swedish Edtech Industry. 13 partners of different sizes and in different forms of operation have participated. This has created good discussions that have led to the test bed being developed to suit a wide range of educational forms and companies. The learning between participating partners has been great and has involved a deep commitment to the partly new way of working.
