Coordinator Örebro universitet - Handelshögskolan

Project duration November 2014 - August 2015
Status Completed

Purpose and goal

By having submitted an application for an implementation project (Ref: 2015-03776) with the title ´e-services for all - genomförandeprojekt´, the overall objective of the feasibility study is met. Project coordinator for the implementation project is Karin Hedstrom, Örebro University (OU). This is a collaboration between universities (University of Örebro and Linköping University (LIU)), businesses (Operations Initiative AB), regions (Region Östergötland, Dalarna Region and Region Gotland), and municipalities (Kalmar Municipality).

Results and expected effects

The most important result from the feasibility study is the contacts created in the process of preparing the application for the implemention project. In addition to committed project partners, we have additional municipalities and regions wanting to work with a norm critical perspective for e-services. We have also specified how we can continue working with models and methods concerning norm criticism and a value-based perspective. The results from the feasibility has provided us with an opportunity to work with these issues, whether Vinnova approve our application or not.

Approach and implementation

Our co-operation between political science (LIU), informatics (OU) and Verksamhetslyftet AB has worked well.. The literature study in combination with the empirical data collection has provided us with a good overview of the knowledge needs in practice and research. Verksamhetslyftet has through the feasibility study integrated a needs based perspetive in their courses on e-services development. However, we did not carry out the planned workshop. Thus, it will be one of the first activities in the implementation project.

The project description has been provided by the project members themselves and the text has not been looked at by our editors.
