Purpose and goal

The project has contributed to that Sweden and especially Stockholm, and organizations there, obtain a leading position within development of selfdriving vehicles for shared mobility and mobility services. The project has contributed to increased knowledge about technical, regulative, user, business, and policy related questions and requirements so that selfdriving vehicles can be used in an effective and sustainable way. The project has coordinated and cross fertilized ongoing projects, and performed demo and test activities within Drive Sweden for Stockholm/Kista.

Expected results and effects

- the project has established a testsite in terms of a platform where organisations can meet and exchange knowledge, test, demonstrate and assess the effects of new technique, services and business models for self driving vehicles. - the project performed the Test Stie Stockholm Demo Day on Septemeber 6th 2017. Over 100 professionals participated in the demo day. The demo was also open to public and many of the demos where held on public streets in Kista.

Planned approach and implementation

The project has been lead by a coordinating team with one member from each project partners and a project leader from ITRL, KTH. For specific tasks, including prestudies and preparation for demo activities extra personal has been employed, The project leader reports continuously to the program coordinator of Drive Sweden. The coordinating team has meet on a regular basis. The project has served as a ´control tow er´ to syncronize and cross fertilize ongoing activities.
