Important results from the project

The project aimed to optimize our sales process by developing partnerships and a customized software. It also aimed to lay the foundation for a future internationalization and potential investments. We have come a long way and succeeded in streamlining the sales process and we´ve laid the first few partnerships. But we have also learned our weaknesses and that we will quite a long way to go until we are ready for an investment.

Expected long term effects

The tests of the new tool has shown that it reduces the time it takes to upload new products on half. In addition, it helps us from an agency perspective as it keeps track of who should have disbursements and how much they should be. In total we have during the project received 20 new sellers who submitted 800 products. We have also laid the foundation for some partnerships and been in contact with around a 100 companies. The success of the tool gave us a the idea of selling the tool to other companies with a similar business concept and we found a potiential partner for that as well.

Approach and implementation

In retrospect, we should have planned for a longer project period where we would have begun to develop the tool and once it started to be finished we could begin partnership discussions. Partly to be able to better focus on one thing at a time, but also to demonstrate our efficient processes and new technology with increased confidence. Inthe end we are both very satisfied with the tools we have developed and the success we have achieved in building partnerships. We have also done some research in order to make a real boost in the spring, especially with the help of blog collaborations and events.
