Project duration June 2013 - October 2013
Status Completed

Purpose and goal

In step one of the project the different project collaborators have created content, conditions and a plan for realization of the second step of the project comprising three subprojects: 1) Further development of courses in innovation and entrepreneurship 2) Development and implementation of a collaboration venue 3) Career transfer among elite athletes based innovation and entrepreneurship. Development within these areas will create synergy effects and should give both fast results and long term effects for collaboration between education centers, companies and the society.

Results and expected effects

The results and effects of step one have been as expected i.e. strengthened collaboration, creation of common content and a plan for project-step two, which also have generated collaboration in other areas. Due to the close collaboration between actors from the academy, companies and society we see large possibilities to create a combination of rather fast results and long term effects in the next step.

Approach and implementation

We have, in this step, planned for how the collaboration with external partners shall enable development of content, work strategies and courses in innovation and entrepreneurship (and to make them compulsory). Further, we have created strategies for a collaboration and innovation venue for the academy, companies and the public, which is expected to strengthen Swedish competition capability in the sport and health area. In addition we have planned for a smoother career transition for elite athletes and how to integrate them in work life through innovation and entrepreneurship.
