Development and implementation of Hurmårdu.nu

Purpose and goal

The purpose of the project was to evaluate the use of the "Hurmårdu.nu" web service at “Första linjen unga” in the Karlstad area to show the benefit of this before implementing it at other clinics. The project goal was to: -Lance the web service as a new way of contact to “Första linjen unga” in the Karlstad area, which was made 2017-11-30. - Evaluate whether the web service should continue to be used at “Första linjen unga” in Karlstad. Evaluation was conducted 2017-11-30 to 2018-03-16 via surveys, interviews and collection of visitor statistics.

Expected results and effects

The evaluation shows that 17% of first time applicants have contacted “Första linjen unga” through the web service. The number of first-time applicants to "Första linjen unga" in the Karlstad area has increased at the same time as in the same period last year. The introduction of the web service is probably one of the reasons for it. A questionnaire answered by a youth said "I wouldn´t have taken contact if it was not for the web service", which shows that the web service has reached someone who really needs it. Most respondents who have contacted through the web service wants to use it again.

Planned approach and implementation

The project has followed the overall timetable and the project objective has been reached. Launch of the web service was made earlier in the project and the evaluation period was somewhat shifted forward in time. Adaptation of the web service as a result of the data displayed during the evaluation period will not be included in this project but will be more appropriate in the eventual future introduction of the web service at other “Första linjen unga” clinics in Värmland.
