Important results from the project
Strengthen CTS through a internal long-term strategy discussion, establishing a platform for 2025 for Swedish-Chinese road traffic research. Implement the CTS Strategic Roadmap towards the period 2020-2025. Strengthen the CTS partnership, where Geely Automotive Research Institute has joined as Chinese industrial partners.
Expected long term effects
The expected result of the project is to strengthen the CTS partnership, adding new partners and build a project portfolio towards 2025. The actional result has been very positive. New partners have joined and contributed to CTS; Geely Automotive Research Institute has joined as Chinese industrial partner and is engaged in ongoing projects. Two projects is ongoing and six project proposals have been submitted to the 2019 joint MOST-Vinnova call, in line with the strategic roadmap. Updated strategic areas has been identified and jointly anchored at a final workshop in China.
Approach and implementation
The work in the project has been done through (phone/Skype) meetings in Sweden and China during 2019. A final strategic workshop was organised in Shanghai Oct 2019 adjacent to the board meeting and the Vision Zero session that were organised at the SAE-China annual conference in Shanghai.
