Important results from the project

The goal of the project was to create the framework for a competitive, international project proposal for Celtic-Plus with the general topic "Security in Critical Infrastructure". The project proposal (which was also called CRITISEC) has been submitted 2018-03-23. The consortium consists of 13 partners from Sweden, Finland and Luxembourg, with a strong industry participation and a good coverage of the necessary competences.

Expected long term effects

We hope to receive the Celtic label och national funding for the proposal named above. Vi will get a decision from Celtic Office about the labelling on 2018-05-31. In case of a positive decision, we will continue with or national funding applications, where we expect a decision under 2018. If the funding decisions are positive we plan to begin the project 2019-01-01.

Approach and implementation

The feasibility study was divided into the following phases: 1. Information collection and narrowing down of the focus of the Celtic-Plus proposal 2. Identification of areas with lack of competence and search for additional partners to cover these 3. Consolidation of the consortium with respect topics that hold economical and/or research interest for the participants. We conclude that this procedure was successful to create an attractive proposal for the industrial partners and thus was able to collect a very strong consortium, both in Sweden and internationally.
