Purpose and goal
The purpose of the project Continued mapping of production research in Sweden was to map ongoing activities within production research in Sweden (research institutes and academia). The aim was to provide a compilation of research financiers and researchers, and their activities related to the definition of production research, as well as relevant test and demonstration facilities at colleges and research institutes.
Expected results and effects
The survey was conducted by 71 respondents from 19 universities or colleges and 4 research institutes. The results will be published on Produktion2030´s website
Planned approach and implementation
Three main parts have been included in the work: 1) Update of questionnaire, 2) Mapping of research financiers and researchers, and their activities related to the definition of production research, as well as relevant test and demonstration facilities at universities, colleges and research institutes and 3) Compilation of the information in a report. Two questions were added and some reformulations of the questions were made and new research actors were identified in the survey.
