Important results from the project
The purpose of the project was to create necessary tools that enable a smoother artist booking process, easier administration and handling of bookings, adaptation to our largest customers and a scalable way to recruit new users to the platform. All parts of the project were investigated and developed based on the users´ needs.
Expected long term effects
The result of the project was positive, albeit different from our original plan. In surveys with our users and analysis of the market, we realized that we could develop several of the tools that the project referred to in a way that benefits Gigital not only through functionality but as part of a larger growth strategy. An important finding was how free administrative tools for artists can create a virality engine that enables network effects, influx of new users and a fundamentally more intelligent platform.
Approach and implementation
The four different parts functioned as subprojects. These were carried out in the following steps: evaluation of the hypothesis (user surveys, competitor analysis, summary, development plan, beta version, user tests, evaluation, prototype, further development, launch).
