Purpose and goal
The purpose of the project is to contribute to the continued development of industry´s skills development through the universities with flexible courses specifically aimed at industry professionals. All universities participating in the project have experience in developing and implementing flexible and online courses in collaboration with industry. We want to increase to reach a larger target group.The goal is to jointly offer cutting-edge courses that help to develop industry´s digitization and offer at least 4 new courses in collaboration between at least two universities.
Expected results and effects
- A better and more detailed statistics on skills requirements in the industry for improved education planning. - Increased availability of flexible courses for professionals through closer cooperation between the participating universities - Easier to find courses for professionals through a common marketing platform - Increased knowledge level among professionals connected to competitive production, AI, Big Data and machine learning.
Planned approach and implementation
The project has three main parts: - Develop a larger and more specified statistics on industry skills requirements for improved education planning and implementation. - Develop and implement four courses for professionals in flexible and online forms. - Create a joint marketing platform to reach professionals in Swedish companies The following areas of expertise are in focus: Competitive production; Digital Factories, Production Systems, Automation and Robotics. AI and Big Data / Machine Learning; Machine Learning, Autonomous Robots and the Internet of Things (IoT)
