Purpose and goal

The purpose of the project: Contribute to the continued development of the industry´s competence development through needs-adapted university courses at the advanced level, specifically aimed at professionals in industry. To produce statistical data to be used for educational planning and to develop a marketing platform that collects courses for professionals. This has been achieved satisfactorily. The collaboration between the universities with courses is appreciated by the industry, the statistical report has had a great impact and the marketing platform is well visited.

Expected results and effects

Statistics: We have produced a report "The programmable economy" which has received a great deal of attention nationally and which formed the basis for educational planning for universities. Course development: The project have tried 3 different formats for course collaborations. In total, almost 50 people have participated in the courses, participation has been slightly affected by corona as we have had to change the formats of meetings. Marketing: The platform https://learning4professionals.se/ has been launched with 70 courses to choose from, approx. 40-70 views daily

Planned approach and implementation

The four sub-projects have had sub-project managers who led the work with a great commitment from other partners and an overall project management. We started with an analysis of existing course offerings at the universities, then needs and complementary competencies were identified. Course 1 one of ORU´s courses was offered together with LNU on site in Växjö. Course 2 was built together, three modules from different universities from system to component, both ways of collaborating were successful. Course 3 dealt with three different perspectives of AI given under one umbrella.
