Purpose and goal
The aim of this first step was to carry out a stakeholder analysis and to establish a structure for the partnership and its objectives. We have carried out a survey based on citizen participation. We have developed a long-term strategy based on the involvement and participation of residents. The partnership now includes the city of Västerås, in addition to Rädda Barnen, the municipal housing company Mimer and IKEA.
Expected results and effects
1. The survey shows the need for: Strengthening social mobilization and reaching more residents Supporting the development of citizen-driven communication Supporting the development of a citizen-driven meeting place Developing a labor market program 2. within the framework of the partnership, continue work on identifying actors who runs existing programs and developing new activities that strengthen this work. 2. Within the framework of the partnership, we have - developed common long-term objective linked to needs - established principles and roles in the collaboration model
Planned approach and implementation
1. The Citizens Dialogue / Survey method aims to: Ensure that residents´ voices are heard in the process Understand local needs based on a current and housing-centric problem picture Identify challenges and opportunities Identify and understand the local actors´ composition and which actors become relevant in future local partnerships. Conclusion: Ensure democracy / influence platforms so that they residents are involved in a continuing process. That it is persistent and planned over a long period to counteract project fatigue. -
