|Project duration||December 2018 - July 2019|
Purpose and goal
Functional materials, nanomaterials and nanotechnology can be deployed in several industrial areas. IT, biotechnology, life sciences, clean tech transportation and energy are but a few that can be addressed by Swedish excellency in research and innovation in the advanced materials´ fields. However, the awareness of the Sweden´s position in the field of nanotechnology seems to be low among companies in the "established Industry". The aim of this project is to further collaborate with new stakeholders in industry in order to initiate the change to sustainable use of materials
Expected results and effects
The goal is to broaden the interest for sustainable mateirals processing and to create fora for fruitful collaboration between nanotech-/ materials´ startup companies and established industry. Specific issues are to identify our member companies´ need and find content providers for these needs, like IP, management, investments identify the needs for materials´ competence in different industrial areas and with the help of our member companies, create different Mateirals´ toolboxes Create meetings for B2B, inspiration and matchmaking.
Planned approach and implementation
We will accomplish this by 1. impelment a digital communication platform for exchange of knowledge 2. create collaboration with "content providers" to meet the needs of the member companies 3. initiate meetings large companies - small companies 4.make NanoForum the natural meeting place for innovation, investments and ideas 5. broaden the scope from "nano" to "advanced"
