Purpose and goal

The goal was to create virtual showrooms with local influencers in local languages in Europe. We met the goals with Stockholm, Oslo, Copenhagen and Helsinki. It became a virtual showroom with the local influencer and two more people in each video to reflect different ethnicities, sizes and body types. Then there was a video where the influencer shows her city. The aim was to create as reality-based showrooms as possible online. Another objective was to develop complementary products on the same concept. We met the goal of developing cardigans on similar concepts.

Expected results and effects

The project resulted in recorded virtual showrooms with real people in Stockholm, Oslo, Copenhagen and Helsinki. First a video to reflect a real showroom in the local city where the influencer explains that Coatally is the world´s first modular coat with a base coat and thirty interchangeable details. They speak in local languages so that customers in each country can identify with the brand and make it feel local. We also recorded when the influencer showed her city. This is to reach customers globally. The local languages are subtitled in English.

Planned approach and implementation

We conducted the recordings in Oslo, Helsinki, Copenhagen and Stockholm. We also rented a studio in Stockholm for the size films. The project was time consuming and we therefore managed with four out of seven countries. We will continue with the other countries ourselves as this has yielded very good results. In 2020 we will take this globally. The further development of other product categories is moving forward, and we now also have a cardigan in three basic models to launch next year. A cardigan that, just like the coat, suits you whether you are short, standard or tall.
