Purpose and goal
Objective 1: Implement four common co-production seminars. Outcome: Five common events have taken place during the project. Objective 2: Identify three collaboration arenas. Outcome: Three arenas have been identified, of which one has been selected to be developed further in step 2 of the project. Objective 3: Evaluate and develop collaboration criteria. Outcome: A model for collaboration has been developed to be used to evaluate and develop collaboration criteria. Objective 4: Develop a Stage 2 application. Outcome : A Step 2 application has been prepared and submitted to Vinnova.
Results and expected effects
The effects of the project are long term and requires that the model has been in operation for a copule of years. The following measurable outcome targets is intended to be reached: - Further development of the universites´s research specializations, in terms of quality, volume, and co-production. - Increased scope of educations for industrial practitioners. - Increasing the scope of the grant-funded research. - Increased possibility to established industry associated positions. - Increased mobility between university and industry, both in terms of staff and students.
Approach and implementation
The cooperation has been pursued through the use of two-day seminars (in Gothenburg and Jönköping) and three teleconferences, and culminated in a joint application between the six parties for step two of this call.
