Purpose and goal

Click System is intended to provide a system that gives students responsibility, let teachers be teachers and gives parents instant insight. Several schools have existing IT-systems and we saw a great demand for open systems that easily communicate with surrounding systems. To offer ClickSystem as a plug-in module that can easily communicates with surrounding systems was a requirement.

Results and expected effects

ClickSystem is to be used by students at all levels. We were convinced that if the students themselves have responsibility for their presence, generate reliable statistics. Moreover, ClickSystem has an open interface to allow integration into the customer´s other systems. That in ClickSystem where students are responsible for registering their presence and sending automated absence notification has proved to be the big attraction. ClickSystem enable teachers to focus on the lessons and pupils and the school obtains reliable statistics.

Approach and implementation

ClickSystem is packaged for the market and available at school levels from pre-school up to colleges. We have learned that different types of schools have different purchase cycles and decision paths. We have sold ClickSystem to schools by being at the customers site and demonstrating, as this turned out to be the best way to demonstrate new technology. Only when the school management and the teachers saw what we had done, they realized that it was possible. In the May month, we have won contracts with several large private schools and municipalities.
