Purpose and goal

The citizens, the users of the projects outcome, will determine the long-term impact of the project. The main objective of this project is the same as in call 1, to make life easier and less complicated for citizens.

Results and expected effects

Business model: Questions like, who will be the owners of the solution, responsible for operation, maintenance, marketing, etc., and what kind of pricing model will be introduced? These are all important issues related to the overall business model for Citizen eHub. After discussing these issues and explored various options, the project team came up with a pretty simple solution. The key here is ´open source´ The prototype: It can be concluded that the prototype is a proof of concept. The central functions and the concept in general is technically in place and working in a web environment.

Approach and implementation

The project model has depended on that the partners in the project has taken a major responsibility for the governance and management based on the established timetable with milestones. The entire project has been implemented with development teams in three different countries with local resources cooperating across borders and communicating over Skype and email. The work has been performed with agile development methods and implemented in a common test environment in the cloud. Overall, all the partners have been able to deliver on the promised deliveries in time.
